Editor, Pam White, knows how you feel. She's the mother of three
busy children, five cats and one dog, and married to a loving
husband. For several years after her children were born, she
operated a family daycare. Combining the need to economize and
the need to entertain a group of preschoolers, she focused on
food. Using her curiosity about all things culinary, she learned
to cook everything from scratch, and taught her little clients
and her own children how fun it is to play with real dough...and
get to eat it once it comes out of the oven.
Now she is a freelance writer, with a weekly restaurant review
column in her local newspaper, and several food articles published
online and in print. Her short stories have been finding homes
with mystery sites and magazines. She is the promotions director
for Futures Mysterious Anthology Magazine (http://www.fmam.biz),
and the publisher and editor of Food Writing, an online newsletter
for food writers (http://www.food-writing.com). She teaches writing
classes online and continues to write articles and books.
Besides cooking and "way too much eating," her
other interests extend to haunted houses, studying wines, reading
reviewing) books, and spending summers at Lake Bonaparte in northern
